ข้าพเจ้าคิดถึงชื่อกรุงเทพ พินิจถึงความหมาย ควรที่จะจินตนาการ ถึงภาพว่าในอีกมุมแล้ว ความเป็นกรุงเทพก็ไม่ได้สมบูรณ์ (เมื่อสระอุ หาย) ความเป็นกรุงก็แปรเปลี่ยนเป็น “กรง เทพ” ที่กําลังคุมขังและจองจําจิตใจ ทว่าเราก็ หลงใหลกรงเทพเหลือเกิน
think about the name Bangkok (Krung Tep). Without a vowel to complete the word "Krung". it ends up with the word "Krong", which means cage. Bangkok itself is not perfect, without that said vowel. It is then turned into the cage which traps and tortures our hearts; still, we are so mesmerised and attracted by this cage.
การนําความรู้สึกที่ประสบกับการใช้ชีวิตใน กรุงเทพ บางขณะชื่นชมยินดี บางขณะก็ เหมือนถูกคุมขังอยู่ในกรง ถ่ายทอดผ่านบทกวี หลากหลายฉันทลักษณ์ (โคลง ฉันท์ กาพย์ กลอน ร่าย) การวางโครงเรื่องเป็นแบบเล่า เรื่อง บางบทมีตัวละครดําเนินเรื่องให้ผู้อ่าน เห็นภาพชัดเจน
Feelings and experience derived from leading a life in Bangkok are brought in the creation of the work. Sometimes it is admiration; sometimes it is like being trapped in a cage. The view is expressed through poetry of many forms. The stories are structured in a narrative form with, for some chapters, characters to bring clear picture to the readers' minds.
กรุงเทพ กรุงเทพกรุงเทพสร้างทางสวรรค์ เสกรังสรรค์สร้างสุขยุคสมัย วัดเวียงวังเพียงภาพฉายประกายชัย กี่กรุงใดๆ ฤาอาจเปรียบเทียบกรุงนี้ กรงเทพ กรงเทพกรงมนุษย์สร้างทางโศกศัลย์ ทุกสิ่งอันปั่นปลุกยุคสมัย เธค บาร์ ผับ ลวงตาสู่ปราชัย เหมือนอยู่ในกับดักหลักราคี
(in Thai verse) Bangkok can be seen as heaven and incomparably better than other cities. However, it is also a cage for humans, leading them to the traps of defilements with places like bars and pubs.
