การไขว่คว้าที่ไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด ยิ่งเป้าหมายใกล้เข้ามา ความโลภก็จะทําให้เรา ไขว่คว้าหาสิ่งที่ไกลออกไปเรื่อยๆ สุดท้ายแล้ว เราก็จะดํารงชีวิตอยู่ในจุด กึ่งกลางระหว่างความสําเร็จในอดีต และความสําเร็จที่เราไขว่คว้าอยู่เรื่อยไป
An infinite reach. When you are moving closer towards your goal, greed will drive you into something else farther away. Eventually, we only keep on living at the point between our glory in the past and the success we continue to reach for.
บทประพันธ์นี้พรรณนาถึงการใขว่ขว้าอันไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด ลักษณะการดําเนิน ทํานองเป็นการไล่โน้ตขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆ โดยมีการหยุด การขัดจังหวะ และการ ดึงลงของท่วงทํานองเป็นระยะเพื่อถ่ายทอดถึงเนื้อหาอุปสรรค และความท้อถอย ที่ผ่านเข้ามา
This piece of music describes the infinite reaching towards the endless goal. The melody keeps rising to its highest point of each instrument, combined with some interrupting pauses and the drop in the music at times in order to convey a message of a man's desperation when encountering obstacles.
