แนวความคิด

อยากจะทำหนังที่มันเกี่ยวกับการตัดสินใจและช่วงชีวิตสุดท้ายของคนที่ใกล้จะจากโลกนี้ไปแล้ว แต่อยากพ่วงความอ่อนแอของร่างกายและจิตใจของตัวหลักด้วยอะไรที่ดูแข็งแรง จึงจบกับกีฬาอย่างธนูเพราะเป็นกีฬาที่น่าสนใจมากในแง่ของจิตใจผู้เล่น ไม่ว่าจะเล่นเดี่ยวหรือทีม คุณก็ต้องยิงธนูของตัวเอง มีเป้าของตัวเอง ถ้าแพ้ก็โทษตัวเอง ถ้าชนะก็ชมตัวเอง มันเหมือนกับชีวิตของสิงห์ ตัวละครหลักที่แม้จะมีคนรอบตัวเยอะ แต่ในช่วงเวลาสำคัญนี้ คนที่ต้องตัดสินใจและรับผิดชอบ คือเขาเอง พอเราเอาความเป็นตัวละครนี้มาพ่วงกับตัวละครลูกสาว

Concept

We were curious not about death itself, but how someone learns to live with it, how they accept it and find emotional anchors to carry them through. We chose a main character with a strong, resilient career on the outside but fragile and vulnerable inside, which led us to archery, a quiet, introspective sport that requires stillness and humility. Family, especially Thai family culture with its unspoken rules and rigid expectations, was another key theme.

เนื้อเรื่องย่อ

สิงห์ นักกีฬาตกอับ ที่แยกกันอยู่กับโบว์ลูกสาวและเบนซ์แฟนเก่า พยายามที่จะสร้างความสัมพันธ์กับลูกสาวอีกครั้ง หลังจากที่รู้ว่าตัวเองป่วยเป็นมะเร็งระยะสุดท้าย ด้วยการสอนธนูซึ่งเป็นสิ่งเดียวที่เขาทำได้ แต่ก็นำไปสู่ความอึดอัดระหว่างลูกและพ่อในช่วงแรกก่อนความสัมพันธ์ของทั้งสองคนจะพัฒนาขึ้น และสนิทกันขึ้น แต่เมื่อโบว์ได้รู้ว่าที่พ่อเข้ามาในชีวิตตัวเองอีกครั้ง เพราะว่าเป้นมะเร็ง ทั้งสองคนก็ทะเลาะกันอีกครั้ง สุดท้ายสิงห์ก็ได้เรียนรู้ ว่าเขาไม่สามารถที่จะพยายามรักษาความสัมพันธ์เอาไว้ได้เพียงแค่ในระยะสั้น

Synopsis

Singh, a former archer whose life has fallen apart, tries to get close to his daughter Bow again after being away for many years. When he finds out he has cancer, he decides to spend his remaining time with her by teaching her archery, the only thing he feels he can offer. At first, things are uncomfortable between them, but slowly they start to grow closer. When Bow finds out the real reason her father came back was because he is sick, they fight again. In the end, Singh learns that rebuilding their bond t
