แนวความคิด

ผลงานศิลปะชิ้นนี้มีชื่อว่า “ เขาว่ากันว่า ” ( Speak on ) เป็นรูปแบบประติมากรรมสื่อผสม ซึ่งภาพรวมของผลงานนั้น เป็นการสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงพฤติกรรมของคนในสังคมที่ฉาบฉวยและขาดวิจารณญาณ โดยยกเอาพฤติกรรมการพูดนำมาตีความและสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน ในลักษณะของรูปทรงศรีษะมนุษย์ที่มีเพียง จมูก ปากที่เชื่อมต่อกับใบหู และหูซ้ายขวาที่เชื่อมกัน มีรางรถไฟและร่างกายของมนุษย์ที่มีรูปทรงผิดแปลกทะลุผ่าน ทั้งหมดเชื่อมโยงและวิ่งหมุนเป็นวงกลม สื่อให้เห็นถึงพฤติกรรมของมนุษย์เมื่อได้พบเจอกันมักจะตั้งวงพูดคุยสนทนากันและเรื่องที่อยู่ในวงสนทนานั้นคงจะไม่พ้นมีเรื่องการนินทาเข้ามาเกี่ยวข้อง ซึ่งการนินทามักจะเป็นเรื่องที่รับรู้ รับฟัง ได้รับสารอย่างไรก็พูดออกไปอย่างนั้นไม่ได้ผ่านการคิดวิเคราะห์ หรือดูเหตุผลความเป็นจริง การพูดที่ไม่มีการไตร่ตรองให้ดีเสียก่อนสิ่งที่พูดออกไป อาจเกินจริง บิดเพี้ยน หรือในอีกแง่หนึ่งอาจมองเห็นความจริงบ้างเล็กน้อยแต่เลือกที่จะพูดใส่สีตีไข่ให้การสนทนานี้เป็นเรื่องสนุกโดยไม่คิดถึงผลที่จะตามมาต่อบุคคลที่ถูกกล่าวถึง ไม่ต่างอะไรกับร่างกายของมนุษย์ที่ผิดรูป ที่วิ่งหมุนเข้าหูออกปาก เข้าหูซ้ายทะลุหูขวา เป็นความผิดเพี้ยนของพฤติกรรมของมนุษย์ที่ไม่มีวันสิ้นสุด

Concept

Represented in a mixed media sculpture, this work is entitled “Speak on” as a contemplative collection of superficiality and poor judgment. Such vile conduct is interpreted and re-created in a human head where the nose, mouth, and ears are connected. The left and the right ear are linked via a rail track. The body is somehow oddly shaped and passable. All are connected in a cycle, demonstrating human nature in a conversation where gossiping and spreading rumors are always rolling. Often times, the message spread without a shred of truth to back it up, and it will eventually be exaggerated or distorted. On the other hand, facts get mixed up with lies to boost fun where consequences impacted on other people are ignored. It is displayed as a similarity to the oddly-shaped human body where things pass through the ear and come out from the mouth. The message gets into the left ear and goes out on the right one. This is an endless distortion of our reality.
