กิเลสที่หมักหมมทับถมอยู่ในจิตใจมนุษย์ ทำให้จิตใจเศร้าหมองด้วยความไม่รู้แจ้งของมนุษย์ทั้งความรัก โลภ โกรธ และหลง ก่อให้เกิดกิเลสตัณหาต่อตนเอง ต่อจิตใจพระพุทธศาสนาที่มุ่งเน้นการดับทุกข์การหลุดพ้นจากกิเลสแต่ด้วยความไม่รู้แจ้ง ความไม่ลดละการอยากได้อยากมีของมนุษย์ ก่อให้เกิดความเสื่อมทรามของสังคมและการลดความศรัทธาของพระพุทธศาสนา มีการเล่าเรื่องกิเลสที่แสดงออกถึงความรุนแรงกามราคะ การมัวเมาสุรา ศาสนามีการใช้รูปทรงของธรรมจักรเป็นสัญลักษณ์แทน มีการใช้ตัวภาพคน และตัวภาพอมนุษย์ครึ่งคนครึ่งงูกำลังเกี้ยวพันคนที่ก่อกิเลส
The defilements that accumulate and settle in the human mind cause mental darkness due to ignorance, including love, greed, anger, and delusion. These give rise to craving, affecting the self and the mind. Buddhism, which focuses on the cessation of suffering and liberation from all defilements, faces the challenge of human ignorance and relentless desire for possessions. This has led to the moral degradation of society and a decline in faith in Buddhism.
